We had a wonderful installation of new officers for 2018 which was presided over by our Bro Alvin Claxston and his installation team. We say goodbye to WM Jim Fromman who spent three years in the East, through difficult times his strength of character and fortitude did surely guide the Lodge into the brighter days which we are now enjoying. His leadership is a strong foundation for us to further build this ever strengthening fellowship upon. Jim is a shining example which we all will strive to embody within ourselves. However, Bro Fromman is continuing his service to the Lodge as the new Treasurer, we are very happy to have him close so we can continue to look for his input, and subtle guidance. We were surrounded by many family members, and friends, and made some new friends with community leaders such as the Sheriff of Van Buren County, Daniel Abbott who, under special invitation, was a most welcome and celebrated guest. Our dinner consisted of Roast beef sandwiches, horseradish and au juis, potato salad, and coleslaw which our Bro Rick Stange graciously cooked, prepared, and served for us. A huge thank you to Rick, for he made some very happy people with those great tastes. And for dessert we had the famous peanut butter blossom cookies by Lori Monroe, the wife of Daniel Monroe. The new officers are listed on the "OUR LODGE" page of the website. We are looking forward to a great year under Rob Carter's guidance!
